Asia markets rise after U.S. stocks hit all-time highs, China loan prime rates in focus
Asia-Pacific Markets Surge Following Wall Street’s Record High #
Asia-Pacific markets rallied on Monday, mirroring the gains seen on Wall Street. The S&P500 reached a new all-time high, rising by 1.23% to settle at 4,839.81, surpassing its previous record from January 2022. The Dow Jones Industrial Average and the Nasdaq Composite also rose by 1.05% and 1.70%, respectively. Investors in the region are closely watching China’s one- and five-year loan prime rates. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index is expected to open stronger, while Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 started the week with a 0.48% gain.
